Brown Eggs
Our free range flock produce on average one and a half dozen eggs a day. Most of our eggs are already committed to customers on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We deliver when convenient in the greater South Bend area. Because of our supply and demand, you can always be assured the eggs you purchase from us are the freshest you can buy. Blueberries
Our blueberries are in season from early July through the beginning of August. Picking hours are: Mon 4-7 p.m., Wed 10 - 2p.m. and Sat 1-5 p.m. Our U-Pick blueberries are also available by appointment or invitation, so call or email if the standard times don't work for your schedule. We charge $2.50/pound for U-Pick. We often have already picked, cleaned and packaged blueberries for $3.50/pound. Contact us at info@roseearlyfarm.com with questions or order request.
Grass Fed Beef
Our grass fed, black angus beef is sold by the 1/4. On average, this equates to 125 pounds of packaged beef. Our butcher, Slabaugh Meat Processing, Nappanee, IN, double wraps and labels all cuts. A 1/4 consists of mixed cuts from the front and hind sections, including steaks, roasts, ground beef and other prime cuts. The total cost to our customers for a 1/4 on average is $500. We raise only a limited number of calves on an annual basis. We butcher our year and a half old calves in October for November pickup and delivery. The previous year's customers have first choice for beef annually. Commitment for Fall beef should be made by August 1.
